This workshop
will be held at Justin Wilson Memorial Park, Mapp Rd., Palm City,FL
Time 9am -2 pm. ( Sat.)
Fee
$55.00 ( $5.00 discount when registering online)
Please Arrive at 9am.
Shepards Park has bathroom
facilities, water and picnic tables...Downtown Stuart is just around the corner if you would like to purchase food, or feel
free to bring your lunch and drink. (Which I will be doing- for we can not watch your easel or materials, nor guarantee it's
safety while you are away from them.)
This workshop is for one day only - Sunday. In case of bad weather it will be
moved up to the following Sunday.
Some knowledge of painting is required to take this course, however if this is your
first plein-air painting - Welcome!
I recommend oils for plein-air, they dry much slower and have a better flow when
trying to paint water and sky. (Oils or Alkyds recommended.)
If you love acrylics - no problem - your painting
will be dry by the time you get home and ready to hang.
Note: Recommended ** - Make your life easy and purchase small
tubes in a box of paints with 10 -15 colors + extra white.
You only need small tubes... they come in all price
ranges.. Michaels Art Supply on Rt. 1 has such sets.
On a budget - who isn't- please note "Bargain" on
my list for reasonable priced supplies. ** Note: Oil - small tubes go a long way. Best for buck.
( If you know color
theory- then primary colors + 2 or 3 earth tones will suffice. )
